Fun little tune!
Fun little tune!
Dearest Reasoner:
It has been said that music communicates things that spoken words alone cannot. That in meditation one learns things that the logical mind cannot even begin to comprehend. Looking through these reviews, you see how so many people have opened up to reveal so much more than their hearts to you, to the world. This is the healing power, the joy, the serene beauty of inspired music.
You have had your wish come true. Although nobody could top what you have created in this beautiful piano solo, your tune has been an inspiration to so many. I love this tune, the story behind it, everything. In fact, although I downloaded the tune many months ago, I remembered the tune this evening, and felt inspired to revisit Newgrounds again and have a look at it.
...And to congratulate you. I wish you all the best in this life, my friend.
What the hell???
Hahahaha Holy cow. That was messed up. Epic win.
Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful.
I absolutely LOVE this song!
This tune is so amazing, I love how every element interweaves within the others, like the ever working gears of a clock, each at their own rhythm, keeping time with absolute precision.
I keep picturing an ancient grandfather clock, standing in the middle of a forgotten graveyard. Every full moon, at midnight, the clock begins to tick. Then the chimes. Then for 3 minutes, every spirit that rests in that graveyard comes out to wreak havoc on the unfortunate souls who happen to be there. The song that eminates from the clock is hypnotic, leading those who hear it toward the spirits, who drag them down to the underworld.
But, that's my imagination for you. :P
Keep up the awesome work! I hope someone does a flash using this song someday. I would, but I can't do flash. I'd just end up making you look bad.
Peace!
I don't know how you do it.
Khuskan! Big fan of your music, man. I have quite a few tunes of yours on my iPod, and I listen to them often. My favorites include "Outside (Absolut Fin)" and "Atomic." Good to see you're still alive and kicking.
I am astounded at your repertoire here on Newgrounds. You have quite the variety of genres, and all of your pieces are of professional quality. I've only begun to explore the realm of recording/writing music, myself. I can't write music worth beans, since I always forget any licks I might accidentally come across while fooling around on the keyboard about midway through writing them down. My improv is easy on the ears, at least, but that's all I've got, and I'm stuck. I was wondering, how do you manage to capture your art onto manuscript, or do you use other methods to put your music together? Sorry, I'm just a wannabe artist, I guess. :-/
In any case, this is an awesome piece of ambient "chill" music. I can feel a beat going through me that I haven't felt in quite some time. Hey, I hope that, if this hasn't happened to you already that is, someday sooner or later you get paid to write and/or perform music. But, if that ever happens, never lose that spark which got you there. Music sounds better (it seems to me) when it's made for the love of the song, and not for the money (dang record companies...) But I blather. Thanks again for another awesome piece.
Cheers!

Why? Why? Why?
You know what? Nintendo could sue your ass for taking their music, recording it, and claiming it as your own. Plagarism is not cool. Don't do it!!!!
To make my point one last time: Yet another Copy & Paste of my original comment on M&L: Cave.

Sorry, but you know the rules of plagiarism from school....
Copy someone else's work = Automatic FAILURE!
Rate me useless if you want, but the fact of the matter remains: You cheated.
That's not acceptable anywhere. Not in school, not on NG, not in life. So go start making your own remixes, instead of recording off of the GameBoy.

Recorded Again!?!
Behold the power of Copy and Paste! But you knew about that already.

Wow!!!
How do you get these 8-bit sounds!? It would be so awesome to make my own 8-bit music as a hobby, but I don't have the tools to do it with...
Excellent 8-bit piece. I dig your work ParagonX9. Keep on making good stuff, and I'll keep downloading it! :)
